About the Institute

The Institute of Pedagogy (continues the traditions of the Institute of Pedagogical Sciences established within the Higher School of Pedagogy in 1974, later transformed into the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology) since 2019 has been the coordinator of the Council of the Discipline of Pedagogy at the University of Zielona Góra. It conducts the following fields of study: animation of culture and creative activity online ( Bachelor’s degree), pedagogy (Bachelor’s and Master’s degree), special pedagogy ( Long cycle studies – Master’s degree), preschool and early childhood pedagogy (Long cycle studies – Master’s degree), re-socialization with criminology (Bachelor’s degree). Within the Institute, a ranked scientific journal “Adult Education Discourses” is edited. The scientific and didactic activities of the Institute focus on education in the broadest sense.
